The warm and friendly welcome by Marion was exceptional. She even upgraded our room and reserved a table for us at a nearby restaurant. The room itself was charming and the location on the ramparts of the medieval town was perfect. We had access to a lovely terrace with a beautiful view. I highly recommend this hotel for a tranquil and memorable stay.

I had a truly incredible stay at this 700-year-old property in a historic village. the proprietor, Lionel, was an absolute gem and made sure that all the guests were happy and satisfied. the restoration of the property was tasteful, keeping the period charm while still providing modern facilities. My room in the old chapel was amazing, with a view of the river, a comfortable bed, and a good shower. Lionel's niece, Marion, also greeted us warmly and served an excellent breakfast in the beautiful baronial hall of the tower. the location was quiet and close to the center of the medieval town. a charming and unforgettable experience. Cons: Nothing, everything was excellent! 👌.

The historic location of the hotel is stunning, but the service and rooms don't match. Although the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was disappointing with basic amenities and outdated decor. the breakfast was decent, but nothing to boast about.
The hotel lacked modern facilities and needs a serious update to match the beauty of its location.

Felt great, nothing to complain about.

We stayed at a hotel for thanksgiving and had an unforgettable experience. the family suite was spacious and spotless, perfect for our family of four. We had a wonderful time kayaking on the nearby river and enjoyed the stunning views from our private terrace. the hotel's convenient location made it easy to walk to all the local attractions.
That one of the rooms didn't seem to have been prepared for the colder weather.
